History

Nicole Goetz founded Nicole L. Goetz in 2010 and serves as the firm’s principle and managing partner. Prior to starting her own firm, Ms. Goetz worked with the law firm of Asbell & Ho, P.A. She served as managing shareholder from 2007 to 2010, and as a shareholder in 2006 and 2007. She started with the firm in 2003 as an associate attorney where she focused on the litigation and appeal of complex family law issues. Ms. Goetz left the firm in 2005 to run a family-owned aerial operation and to help form a very successful right-of-way maintenance company.

From 1999 to 2003, Ms. Goetz served as a staff attorney for the State of Florida, Twentieth Judicial Circuit, assisting the Court Administrator and the judges of the circuit by providing research and recommendations on substantive and procedural issues in a myriad of areas, including but not limited to the review and resolution of county to circuit appeals and of extraordinary writs. After law school graduation in 1997, Ms. Goetz counselled indigent clients in family law matters as a staff attorney at Brevard County Legal Aid.
